We passed through the UK Pavilion and saw the giant tea set, pretty much ignored Canada (sorry, eh!), and then walked through the Feast of The Three Kings area to find out more about that.
I’m not sure why we missed sections of World Showcase, it’s not like we were in any mad rush because we didn’t have dinner reservations, or anywhere else to be. We purposely did that so that we could eat around the world!! Oh well, yet another reason to go back…!
A Visit From The Kings
The whole world is awaiting
A visit from three Kings
And children are preparing
for all the gifts they’ll bring
First they fill a box with hay
To feed the royal animals
For when the Kings arrive
They come on hungry camels!
Then they place a list of gifts
Atop their box of hay
Put it all beneath their bed
And dream of Three Kings Day
As the children drift to sleep
They list for odd sounds
And any signs to indicate
The three Kings are around…
When the Kings arrive at last
Their camels enjoy their treat
The trio fills the empty boxes
With presents from their fleet
This caravan visits every home
On this very magical night
Seeing the camels dash all over
Must be quite the sight!
When the children wake
They peek beneath their beds
To discover their hay boxes
Are filled with gifts instead!
Families gather for fiestas
To feast and dance all day
Everyone celebrates the Kings
With these colorful displays
As the day winds down
There is one last final cheer
For the Kings have promised
To visit again next year!
Before leaving Epcot for the day, we popped into Mouse Gear to do some shopping, and Liam bought himself a box of popcorn on the way out too. We then took the Monorail back to the Transport and Ticket Center and then through the walkway to Home at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
