Would you believe we spent more than 2 hours in Pandora?! I certainly didn’t until I looked at the time stamp on my photos.
It was late afternoon by now and we decided to call it a day at Animal Kingdom. So we waved farewell Pandora, said we would come back to see at night (although never did), and made our way towards the exit.
Once back at Poly, I suggested we take a walk over to Grand Floridian to look at their Christmas decorations, and their life-size Gingerbread House. Ever since we saw the Gingerbread House being made on a TV show years back, Steve and I have wanted to see it.
Liam wasn’t bothered, and said he’d rather stay in the room – much needed iPad time I would guess(!!) It was this holiday that I realised that he’s just all grown up, and this will probably be the last family holiday. Unless my brother was to come with us again like in 2016. There is only 10 years between my brother and Liam (less than between myself and my bro – 13 years!), so they’re good buddies as well as being uncle/nephew.
Anyway, we left him behind, said he could go and get food if he wanted and charge it to his Magic Band, while Steve and I took the path along the beach to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The walk over to Grand Flo from Poly is lovely and peaceful – you literally just follow the path. I would say it takes about 15/20 minutes. By now, the sun was starting to set, so naturally I took some photos of the view.
